Taking a Thursday night painting class at Charles H. Taylor Art Center has been a great experience. I love learning about art, being around other painters and having critiques. Also I love being the youngest there by 25 + years! heehee. I am still plugging away on this series of paintings I am going to enter into a show in May. Here is the 3rd paitning in the series and what I think is the hardest one. It includes a walkway and I'm not sure how it will turn out! We shall see!
On another note, I'm donating this painting I did in college- inspired by a trip to Magdalena, Guatemala, to be auctioned off at a Black Tie Event March 29th raising money to go to the Alzheimer's Association. I can't wait to see how the auction goies and who takes it home!
Lastly, here is a sneak peek of a commissioned painting I am working on for a friend from JMU. It is going to be covered in beautiful blue and white hydrangeas! Cant wait to see it done!
