Dining Room at #homesweetlane

After I did the before and after of the living room of the progress we've made- I thought I would follow up with our dining room as well! This room is pretty much finished other than looking for another potential cabinet/storage to go in the little nook our old bookshelf now resides which is to the left as you enter the kitchen but you can't really see it in these pictures. We'll see what happens!!

Here's the Dining Room shortly after moving in:

Unfortunately I don't have anymore 'before' pictures because honestly we had nothing when we moved in! It was literally an empty room until we got the sisal rug (one that can get stuff spilt on it) from Overstock and its amazing how that can make a room feel so much better! We also bought our table and the chairs (a few at a time in order to help our budget) from World Market (a favorite place of mine to browse)!

Here is the dining room this December:

The sconces are from Bed Bath & Beyond (old) and I spray painted them silver to match the light fixture. The wreath I made from magnolia leaves, cardboard and my glue gun. (Here's a tutorial I used loosely ;) ) I think I'm going to spray paint it white to keep it for the winter/spring. Here's a girl that did a gold one! The sideboard I found at a consignment furniture place on Route 17 called Cozy Cottage... it was $87! The silver frames are from IKEA + I plan to put different season sayings/pictures in them since they are easy to change out. The wedding photo frames are from Michael's + I just had large prints made of our wedding photos from Rebekah Hoyt :) Place-mats, napkins + the Lenox china are all from Bed Bad & Beyond or Macy's. The curtains are 95" curtains ordered from Bed Bath & Beyond online as well (what would we do without that place?!) and I love the pattern!

Thanks for checking out this addition to the #homesweetlane posts! More to come I'm sure :) Happy Friday!!
